First flowers of the season

Cardamine pratensis, most commonly known as cuckooflower or lady's smock.

We haven’t been that successful with bulbs thus far, so I’ve enjoyed this cuckooflower and the marsh marigold, both growing in our bog gardens.

We also have pockets of color from primroses, bluebells, violets, geraniums, petticoat daffodils, and fritillaries.
