Art!
It’s March 2026, and this is my first blog post of the year. Two significant events:
We had the first visitors to our bird feeders: blue, great, coal and long-tailed tits, and two blue tits are now nesting in the building opposite our bedroom window. I experimented with leaving them moss, grass, and sheeps wool for their nest. The wool was quickly taken away. We’ve stopped leaving out food for the crows, having learned that they will likely scare the smaller birds. But we still give them a handful when they ask!
We have art. We met the potter, Charles Bound, in his home in Wales, and bought back the incredible pot (above).
The terrace is otherwise looking a little bleak.
