Sleeping bee

I thought that this bee was dead, until it shuffled slightly. I’m guessing that it was sleeping, holding on to the flower with its back legs.

I believe that thes images below are of a common carder bee.

We had a new butterfly visitor - the European common blue (Polyommatus icarus).
